T&T (or TNT) Bed Thundereggs

The TnT bed is named after 'Tim and Terry', who rediscovered it relatively recently - though the site itself is actually quite old. I am told that it is quite close to White Fir, which is not so surprising, looking at the matrix. The stones are usually quite small with a characteristic pale matrix, often forming very elegant shapes. The agate ranges from clear to a rich 'root beer' brown, occasionally even wine-red, and is often accompanied by quartz. This is also a location that is relatively prone to amethyst.
