Emirler Village Rhyolite Transitional Nodules

These stones are a very distinct form of rhyolite with agate and crystal. These are not thundereggs as such but they are similar - maybe what might be called a "transitional nodule". You can see a similar structure going on in the way the stone has split, even if the result is not quite such a self-contained nodule as you would expect. Also, these stones are one of the better sources of amethyst in this part of the world.
